Job summary

Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH is hiring an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Telemetry unit. You will assist under a nurse’s guidance, performing advanced clinical tasks and helping create a welcoming, safe environment for patients and families.

Responsibilities include observing and reporting patient changes, aiding with ADLs, phlebotomy, telemetry, IV/catheter removal, and lab support. Required CNA/LNA credentials and a NH license, with BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required within 30 days of start date.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential.
• New Hampshire LNA license is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients, document changes, and communicate with the nursing team.
• Assist with daily living activities to support patient comfort and safety.
• Provide advanced care including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, IV and catheter removal, and wound care.
• Support with collecting lab samples and clerical duties to keep care running smoothly.
• Anticipate patient needs and respond quickly to ensure compassionate experiences.
