Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be currently enrolled in a professional nursing educational program.
• Completion of at least one medical-surgical clinical rotation is required.
• Acute care or hospital experience is preferred.
• BLS Certification - Healthcare Provider required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic care needs.
• Taking and documenting vital signs accurately.
• Supporting nurses with routine patient care tasks.
• Observing patients and communicating changes to licensed nursing staff.
• Maintaining a safe and organized patient care environment.
• Providing compassionate customer service to patients and families.
• Documenting patient information using electronic medical record systems.
