Responsibilities

• Performs continuous observation of cardiac telemetry monitors.
• Interprets and documents telemetry data, alerting the nurse as needed.
• Ensures correct lead placement and optimal alarm settings.
• Maintains hourly rhythm and rate logs and shift handoff reports.
• Executes emergency codes when life-threatening dysrhythmias occur.
• Monitors equipment and manages supply inventory for the telemetry area.
