Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Telematics Validation Engineer for a Stellantis program in Michigan. You will perform validation and testing of automotive ECUs, focusing on telematics systems, and design test cases for ECU- and system-level validation.

You will analyze CAN and MQTT communication, perform HIL testing, develop automation scripts, and use Vector tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer for simulation and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in CAN, MQTT, and Vector tools.
• Hands-on experience in HIL testing.
• Experience in automotive ECU validation.
• Preferred: experience with telematics ECU testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform validation and testing of automotive ECUs, with a focus on telematics systems.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases for both ECU-level and system-level validation.
• Analyze and debug communication issues using CAN and MQTT.
• Conduct HIL testing and develop automation scripts as required.
• Utilize Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, etc.) for simulation, analysis, and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, track, and resolve defects.
• Prepare detailed test reports, validation summaries, and defect documentation.
• Support integration and system and sub system level validation activities.
