Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Michigan is seeking an Automotive Validation Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in infotainment validation and testing to help ensure high-quality automotive software.

You will develop and execute test cases, perform functional, regression, and system testing, analyze results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution and ensure compliance with industry quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Automotive Validation / Testing.
• Strong experience in Automotive Domain.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in Infotainment Testing.
• Good knowledge of Bluetooth, USB, CarPlay, Android Auto, Navigation, Audio systems.
• Experience in CAN tools like CANoe / CANalyzer is preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols: CAN, LIN preferred.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira / ALM / Bugzilla.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform validation and testing of Automotive Infotainment Systems including Radio, Navigation, Bluetooth, Connectivity, Audio, Display, and HMI features.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases based on system requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Work closely with development teams, system engineers, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Validate software releases and support vehicle-level testing.
• Analyze logs, trace files, and test results for root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and validation processes.
• Participate in test planning, status reporting, and quality reviews.
