Job summary

Ring Power Corporation, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician responsible for safe operation, diagnostics, and repair of Caterpillar equipment in Florida. The role requires completing the required technician training, maintaining tools, and performing telematics and safety systems installations and repairs.

Applicants should have 1–2 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver license. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dealer software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Formal education includes High School diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience in related role.
• Able to comprehend written materials and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and dealer-specific software.
• Basic DC electrical fundamentals and computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Attends and successfully completes required technician training classes.
• Maintains necessary set of tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer's specifications.
• Perform safety and priority product updates, pull SOS samples, install/troubleshoot/repair telematics components, and safety systems on customer or company owned equipment.
• Works in a neat and orderly fashion, maintaining field service truck and adhering to contamination control guidelines.
• Completes required documentation utilizing appropriate software to document repairs performed on equipment, and accounting for repair times.
• Monitors job expenses versus standard jobs or defined repair scope and informs supervisor of cost overruns.
• Approaches work positively and supports team, training or mentoring others as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
