Job summary

Ring Power Corporation is seeking a skilled technician responsible for diagnosing repairs on Caterpillar equipment, following safety policies, and maintaining accurate repair documentation. The role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting, with emphasis on safe operations and cost control.

The ideal candidate will have 5–6 years of relevant experience, complete required training, and be proficient with dealer software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5-6 years of relevant experience.
• Completed all required training curriculum to be designated a Tech I.
• Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
• Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and relevant Dealer software programs.
• Successfully completed relevant specialized equipment technical courses.
• Updating knowledge required; retraining yearly.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain necessary tools and diagnose/disassemble/assemble components per manufacturer specs.
• Document repairs performed and track repair times; monitor expenses vs estimates.
• Work safely and contribute to team, train/mentor others when needed; may temporarily assume supervisor responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
