Job summary

Richelieu Hardware Ltd in Osseo, MN is seeking a Telemarketing Associate to drive inside sales within our local market. You will reach out to customers by phone, place orders, generate quotes, and coordinate with outside sales reps to process orders and quotes.

The role requires prior telemarketing or inside sales experience, comfort with wood-related products, and solid MS Office skills. Competitive benefits are offered, with a day shift Monday–Friday.

Key Responsibilities

As a critical and meaningful role within the Richelieu organization, the Telemarketing position is primarily responsible for inside sales development for a portion of our local sales region. This person will primarily:

• Seek out new business opportunities with customers via phone,placing orders as well as providingsalesquotes
• Work closelywithoutside sales representatives with customer orders andquotes
• Research product solutionsfor customers to solvefield-projectissues
• Hours of operation areMonday to Friday, day shift only

What We Are Looking For

• Prior telemarketing, inside sales, or customer service experience
• Past experience with wood, woodworking, panels, and/or boards is a strong plus
• Prior architectural or interior hardware experience ishelpful but not required
• Developed customer service,problem-solving, and project managementskills
• Team-oriented, showsinitiative
• Strong sense of drive and creativity
• Experience usingWord,Excel, andbasic Outlook systems. AS400 experience is helpful, but is not required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; must be able to effectively use Excel, Word, Outlook for daily responsibilities and tasks
• Position may require lifting/pushing/carrying items up to 50 pounds
