Job summary

Richelieu Hardware Ltd in the United States is seeking a Telemarketing/Inside Sales specialist for a Monday–Friday day shift within our local sales region. You will help generate new business, place orders, and collaborate with outside sales to quote and fulfill customer needs.

The ideal candidate has telemarketing or inside sales experience, comfort with Word/Excel/Outlook, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. We offer group insurance, a 401(k) match, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Prior telemarketing, inside sales, or customer service experience.
• Past experience with wood, woodworking, panels, and/or boards is a strong plus.
• Architectural or interior hardware experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Seek out new business opportunities with customers via phone, placing orders and providing sales quotes.
• Work closely with outside sales representatives on customer orders and quotes.
• Research product solutions for customers to solve field-project issues.
• Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, day shift only.

Key Responsibilities

As a critical and meaningful role within the Richelieu organization, the Telemarketing position is primarily responsible for inside sales development for a portion of our local sales region. This person will primarily:

• Seek out new business opportunities with customers via phone,placing orders as well as providingsalesquotes
• Work closelywithoutside sales representatives with customer orders andquotes
• Research product solutionsfor customers to solvefield-projectissues
• Hours of operation areMonday to Friday, day shift only

What We Are Looking For

• Prior telemarketing, inside sales, or customer service experience
• Past experience with wood, woodworking, panels, and/or boards is a strong plus
• Prior architectural or interior hardware experience ishelpful but not required
• Developed customer service,problem-solving, and project managementskills
• Team-oriented, showsinitiative
• Strong sense of drive and creativity
• Experience usingWord,Excel, andbasic Outlook systems. AS400 experience is helpful, but is not required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; must be able to effectively use Excel, Word, Outlook for daily responsibilities and tasks
• Position may require lifting/pushing/carrying items up to 50 pounds
