Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center seeks a Telehealth Technology Coordinator to support telehealth programs, bringing technology to the bedside, coordinating virtual visits, and troubleshooting equipment for a smooth patient and family experience.

You will collaborate with Nursing, providers, Patient Experience, Information Services, and hospital leadership to optimize patient flow and expand access to virtual care, while ensuring infection-control practices and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Able to learn and troubleshoot telehealth equipment.
• Willingness to travel between MedStar Health hospitals.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Transport and set up telehealth equipment at the patient’s bedside.
• Coordinate virtual visits and assist patients, families, and clinicians.
• Triage calls and telehealth orders for the Telehealth Center.
• Troubleshoot and maintain telehealth devices and software.
• Document visits and ensure infection-control procedures.
