Job summary

Avel eCare is seeking an eCare Operations Specialist to support telehealth services within the Sioux Falls team. This entry-level role focuses on coordinating workflows, supporting clinical operations, and managing technology access to ensure smooth virtual care.

The position emphasizes collaboration with healthcare teams, rural clinics, and government program initiatives, with hours typically Monday–Friday and 40 hours per week. Reports to RN Nursing Supervisor - eCare Specialty Clinic.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
• Two years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must successfully complete and maintain federal background investigation, credentialing, and clearance processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational and clinical workflow; educate hub staff on implementations.
• Manage remote access with external EHRs; assist with account activation/deactivation.
• Manage equipment testing; file IT tickets and coordinate troubleshooting with site personnel.
• Assist with implementation tasks and go-live events.
• Assist with data analysis to identify quality-improvement opportunities for the service line.
• Coordinate physician scheduling and communication; assist in policy and procedure development.
