Job summary

Suna Solutions, based in San Diego, is seeking a Purchasing Agent for a 6-month onsite contract. You will manage procurement activities, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support daily operations.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and collaborative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Experience with ERP systems and MS Office is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience using ERP systems to manage procurement plans, activities and actions.
• Experience supporting multiple internal & external customers.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures.
• Prepare purchase orders for approval and suppliers submittal
• Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
