Job summary

Randstad USA in Anaheim, CA, is seeking a Telecom Field Technician to support Avaya and Nortel systems. The role is a 6-month contract with 40 hours per week, typically 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, on-site.

Start date is about two weeks from offer; shift is First; some weeks may run Tue-Sat. Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least five years of experience working with Cisco Call Manager, Avaya/Nortel CSE1000 PBX, and related messaging systems; valid driver's license and ability to travel

Qualifications

• Experience with Avaya/Nortel PBX systems and Cisco Call Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular MAC phone requests and repairs on Avaya/Nortel PBX systems and Cisco Call Manager.
• Support customer Monday through Saturday 8AM-5PM and may transition to a 5-day shift.
• Supply common telecommunications tools.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Telecom Field Technician - Avaya and Nortel

Hourly Pay: 50-53 p/hr on W2 Only

Responsibilities

Position Requirements

• Have working knowledge to perform regular type of MAC phone requests and phone repairs on Cisco Call Manager, Avaya/Nortel CSE1000 PBX systems, and Avaya Messaging.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule for supporting the customer Monday through Saturday 8AM- 5PM shift and could be moved to a 5-day shift within these days.
• Supply common telecommunications tools.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Additional Requirements

• familiarity with onsite equipment including Cisco Call Manager, Nortel, PBX Systems.
• Excellent client-facing and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel to sites near to Anaheim, CA.
• Ability to work well with team members including Team Lead and possibly the Field Operations Manager.
• Highly organized and able to keep detailed and accurate records for time reporting and billing purposes.
