Job summary

CobbFendley is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Technician for our Albuquerque office. The role supports project Managers and engineers with drafting tasks, utilizes AutoCAD and related software, and requires basic knowledge of survey data interpretation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard drafting techniques and procedures.
• Skills in using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office to prepare technical drawings and communicate project information.

Responsibilities

• Plan production support for design tasks for various projects.
• Use engineering and drafting software to generate plan and profile drawings from survey files and record drawings.
• Develop base drawings from survey notes and civil plans; perform basic calculations and prepare data for reports.
• Complete simple redline markups with guidance and incorporate review comments.
• Interpret survey data and utility records to ensure accurate drawings.
• Assist with calculations and pole data inputs for project deliverables.
• Support QA/QC processes and maintain organized project files.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to complete assignments.
• Develop skills interpreting survey data and engineering plans.
• Maintain professional attitude and meet deadlines.
