Job summary

CobbFendley Inc. is seeking a Geospatial CAD Technician for our Frisco, TX office. You will support Project Managers with technical design tasks, generate plan and profile drawings from survey data, and prepare accurate base drawings for infrastructure projects.

We value 3+ years of experience with CAD tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation, and you will work in a hybrid schedule after training, with opportunities for professional growth and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience with creating plan and profile drawings.
• Knowledge of standard drafting techniques, technical standards, and procedures for infrastructure projects.
• Skills in using industry-standard engineering and drafting software to prepare technical drawings and communicate project information.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers, Project Engineers and Designers with technical design tasks.
• Generate plan and profile drawings, cross-sections, and utility detailing from survey files and record drawings.
• Incorporate review comments and complete simple redline markups with guidance.
• Develop final construction drawings from rough sketches, notes, and data.
• Interpret survey notes and civil plans to create accurate base drawings.
• Perform calculations for elevations, grades, and quantities; assist with field data collection.
