Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 within the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit.

You will install, configure, and maintain electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV systems for federal, local, and commercial customers. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in electronics installation and maintenance, with at least 3 years focused on security systems, plus a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
• 3 years of the above experience focused in electronic security systems.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining electronic security systems.
• Performing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Leading small, moderately complex service projects.
• Conducting daily tool box talks.
• Programming head end equipment for Access Control, IDS and CCTV.
