Job Details

Location: Letterkenny Army Depot

Salary: $40.52 plus $6.07 Health and Welfare

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen
• Active/recent U.S. government Secret security clearance
• Minimum of 3 years OSP/ISP telecommunications maintenance and repair experience
• Experience with installations, removal, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of voice and/or non-voice communication systems
• BICSI Installer Level II within 6 months of hire

Desired Qualifications

• BICSI Installer Level II in copper or fiber

Job Responsibilities

1. Install, repair, and maintain telecommunications facilities
2. Install, modify, troubleshoot, and repair communication systems
3. Run and terminate cables, including copper, fiber, and twisted pair
4. Maintain outside plant facilities
5. Ensure reliable telephone communications
6. Troubleshoot equipment using electronic testing tools
7. Perform copper and fiber testing and splicing
