Overview

We are seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to support enterprise telecommunications and network operations initiatives, including WAN, LAN, VPN, wireless environments, circuit provisioning, network service management, and vendor coordination. This role is ideal for a networking professional who enjoys troubleshooting, project coordination, reporting, and working closely with internal teams and telecommunications vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage network service requests and coordinate installations with telecommunications vendors
• Support WAN circuit implementations, migrations, upgrades, and disconnects
• Monitor and track network activities, outages, and service requests through ServiceNow
• Generate reports, perform data analysis, and provide metrics to management
• Coordinate network upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting activities
• Work directly with vendors to resolve escalations and ensure SLA compliance
• Track projects, communicate status updates, and drive issues to resolution
• Support provisioning activities and customer service order processing

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree and 3+ years of IT experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 3+ years of network support experience
• Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, data circuits, network troubleshooting, and telecommunications services
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Teams, and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience troubleshooting routers, switches, modems, and VPN connectivity
• Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using SSH, Putty, and remote access tools
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• Must have resided in the United States for the past 5 years
• Must not have traveled outside the U.S. for a combined total of 6 months or more during the last 5 years
• Participation in on-call rotations, overnight support, and weekend work as needed
