Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services is actively recruiting a Phone Technician with a current TS/SCI w/ Poly to support the Network Solutions Division in Northern Virginia. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting VoIP and legacy telephone systems, and handling cabling and hardware tasks to meet sponsor standards.

The position requires strong cabling knowledge, experience with VoIP endpoints, and the ability to diagnose complex telecom issues.

Qualifications

Excellent knowledge of cabling methodologies and industry standards.
Experience installing endpoints including VoIP and digital phones, printers, and desktop IT equipment.
Experience resolving technical problems involving computer hardware, network, and telecom systems.

Responsibilities

Support telephone installation, maintenance, and hardware troubleshooting of VoIP and legacy systems.
Perform infrastructure tasks including cabling, terminations, and dressing per industry regs and sponsor standards.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues such as faulty connections and dropped calls.
Provision and configure telephony features including routing, voicemail, extensions, and standard features.
Travel locally between customer buildings in Northern Virginia, with possible temporary assignments elsewhere.
