Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Phone Technician to support network solutions in Northern Virginia. The role requires TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance and hands-on experience with VoIP, telephony hardware, and cabling infrastructure.

The candidate will install and troubleshoot endpoints, configure call routing and voicemail, and travel between customer sites within Northern Virginia. This on-site position offers opportunities to work with cutting-edge telephony systems and enterprise

Qualifications

Excellent knowledge of various cabling methodologies, industry standards, troubleshooting techniques, and reading/understanding cable run lists.
Experience installing endpoints including desktop IT equipment, printers, VoIP and digital phones, and network switches.
Experience resolving technical problems involving computer hardware, network, and telecommunications systems.

Responsibilities

Support telephone installation, maintenance, and hardware troubleshooting across VoIP and legacy systems.
Execute infrastructure tasks, including pulling, terminating, and dressing cabling in strict accordance with industry regulations and Sponsor standards.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including faulty connections, dropped calls, and hardware malfunctions.
Provision and configure telephony features, including call routing, voicemail systems, extensions, and standard phone features.
Local travel between customer buildings throughout Northern Virginia, with potential temporary assignments to alternate locations for special projects.
