Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Telecommunications Technician at the Savannah River Site to install, maintain, and repair telecom equipment under the SRNS contract. Responsibilities include wiring, cross-connects, testing, and ensuring safety compliance. Applicants must be a U.S.

citizen and able to obtain DOE clearance. Position requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have a current driver’s license.
• Must pass an alcohol and substance abuse test.
• Must be able to obtain DOE Clearance.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair telecom equipment at SRNS contract.
• Interpret work orders, circuit diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Install and terminate various cables and jacks; manage patch panels and faceplates.
• Maintain inventory and safe work environment; participate in safety and quality documentation.
• Pass DOE clearance and related security requirements.
