Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Telecommunications Mechanic II at Minot AFB to install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain central office equipment and VOIP networks. Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English reading/writing and able to follow diagrams and instructions.
• Minimum of 1 year experience troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance for structured cabling systems.
• Experience with Cat 5/5e/6 and fiber optics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain BTS equipment and systems to serviceable condition.
• Maintain BTS records and test results.
• Perform preventive maintenance and switch power tests.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair voice and non-voice systems including PBX/alarms.
• Interact with customers professionally and provide solutions.
• Work independently or as part of a team with good judgment.
