Job summary

PJM Interconnection, LLC is seeking a Sr. (Lead) Analyst/Engineer to support Capacity Market Operations and help manage one of the world's largest wholesale markets. You will steer the RPM auction process, perform financial analyses, and document functional requirements for system upgrades.

Hybrid work in Audubon, PA with a focus on collaboration and transparency. Qualifications include a Bachelor degree and 3+ years in data analytics using SAS/SQL/Python, plus strong Excel skills and knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in economics, engineering, finance or CS.
• Minimum 3 years of data analytics and quantitative analysis using SAS, SQL or Python.
• Ability to consolidate data into meaningful information.
• Attention to detail with quality controls to minimize risks.
• Proficient in MS Excel for complex workbooks.
• Knowledge of electricity wholesale markets.

Responsibilities

• Administer the auction process and publish analyses.
• Perform financial analysis of plant costs and revenues for floor/cap prices.
• Provide exceptional customer service to PJM members.
• Address customer issues clearly and professionally.
• Develop performance metrics, reports and presentations.
• Collaborate to define and test system solutions for market rule changes.
• Read PJM Tariff/Manuals to translate rules into processes.
• Develop and update training materials for stakeholders.
