Job summary

PJM Interconnection in Audubon, PA is seeking a Sr. (Lead) Analyst/Engineer to join the Capacity Market Operations team to support the $12 billion per year capacity market for reliability of the PJM system.

You will influence policy, processes and systems, manage inputs/outputs of the RPM auction, and collaborate on software changes to market rules and upgrades, while delivering robust analyses and stakeholder training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data analytics and quantitative analysis experience using SAS, SQL, Python or similar tools.
• Attention to detail with ability to verify work is complete and accurate; implement quality controls.

Responsibilities

• Administer the auction process and publish analysis of results.
• Perform financial analysis of plant costs and revenues to set default floor/cap prices and determine demand curve.
• Provide exceptional customer service to membership with clear, concise communication.
• Develop and produce performance metrics, reports, empirical analysis and presentations to improve transparency and operation.
• Collaborate to define and test system solutions for market rule changes and process improvements.
• Read and interpret PJM Tariff and Manuals to translate market rules into operational processes.
• Develop and update training materials (PowerPoint) and assist with stakeholder training.
