Job summary

Insight Global is looking to hire a Superintendent in Childress to manage all of the Scope/Schedule/Budget for the Telecom discipline in the field. This role requires strong experience in Telecom and a background in construction, with the ability to self-manage and lead a team.

Key duties include coordinating with Area Sups, aligning subcontractors in the field, enforcing safety permits, and leading schedule development, tracking, and QA/QC activities.

Qualifications

• Experience representing Telecom work and knowledge in a field construction environment.
• Ability to self-manage and lead a team.
• Strong coordination with area supers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Communicate & coordinate with Area Sups on work sequence and manpower.
• Align and execute with subcontractors in the field to meet schedule.
• Ensure safety through LOTO, hot work, permits and safety meetings.
• Attend subcontractor meetings with CM as needed and lead schedule development.
• Lead QA/QC inspections, reporting and sub-management coordination.
• Review constraint logs and support resolution of issues.
• Own and be accountable for your work and project lifecycle.
• Per diem, housing, and trailer hookup available on the project.

Insight Global is looking to hire Superintendents in Childress that will manage all of the Scope/Schedule/Budget for the Telecom discipline in the field. This individual should have strong experience representing their work and knowledge within Telecom and have experience working in a construction environment. The ability to self-manage and lead a team is extremely important.

• Communication & Coordination w/ Area Sups (Work Sequence, Execution, Manpower)
• Subcontractor alignment & execution in the Field (know the schedule, work sequence and complete the work)
• Safety ( LOTO, Hot work permit, pre-dig permit, concrete/coring permit)
• Mandatory meetings (mass safety, toolbox talks, whiteboards, stretch & flex, super coordination meetings)
• Sub Field Management (subcontracts, scope, execution, inclusions/exclusions, sub-tiers)
• Attend subcontractor meetings w/ CM as necessary
• Lead & Manage schedule development, sequencing & Tracking, predecessors/successors, weekly updates - Manage & Lead CX (inspections, verifications, reporting, sub management, coordinator w/ CX Team)
• Manage & Lead QA/QC (inspections, reporting, sub management, coordinate QA/QC Team)
• Attend work group meetings w/ CM's as necessary
• Review constraint log and support resolution execution
• Schedule Development & Tracking
• Own work, be accountable for your work and complete your work.
