Job summary

EY-Parthenon’s Strategy and Execution team focuses on unlocking growth and improving operations for private equity-backed telecom portfolio companies, delivering actionable recommendations and guiding implementation with senior client leadership.

As a leader, you own end-to-end projects, mentor teams, translate strategy into roadmaps, and build relationships with private equity sponsors while traveling to client sites or EY offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field; 8 years experience (or graduate degree with ~7 years).
• Experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or operating roles with growth or operational improvement.
• Telecommunications sector experience across multiple subsectors.
• Deep understanding of financial statements and operational metrics.
• Proven ability to build relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Strong executive-level communication skills; in-person client interactions 60%+ of time.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of strategy and execution projects, including scoping and planning.
• Supervise and mentor Consultants and Directors; guide problem-solving and growth opportunities.
• Analyze data, quantify opportunities, and develop actionable, data-backed recommendations across GTM, pricing, customer success, product and operations.
• Build trust with senior stakeholders and communicate insights clearly.
• Translate strategy into implementation roadmaps and lead hands-on execution or PMO support.
• Contribute to proposal development, client pitches, and relationships with PE sponsors.
