Job summary

EY-Parthenon in New York seeks a Director for Strategy and Execution in Telecommunications Private Equity Value Creation. You will lead end-to-end projects, mentor teams, and deliver actionable, data-backed recommendations across go-to-market, pricing, customer success, product and operations.

You’ll translate strategy into hands-on implementation, collaborate with PE sponsors and portfolio companies, and drive value with executive stakeholders in a fast-paced, in-person environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field; 5+ years of related work experience.
• Graduate degree with ~3 years of related work experience acceptable.
• Experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or operating roles.
• Experience leading complex workstreams or full projects in a fast-paced client service environment.
• Deep understanding of financial statements and performance metrics.
• Proven success building relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; executive-level presentations.
• Telecommunications sector experience across multiple subsectors.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of strategy and execution projects; scope, plan, and drive results.
• Supervise and mentor a team of junior consultants and guide problem-solving.
• Lead structured analysis to identify root causes and quantify opportunities.
• Develop data-backed recommendations across GTM, pricing, customer success, product and operations.
• Build trust with senior stakeholders and communicate insights clearly.
• Translate strategy into implementation roadmaps and lead orPMO on engagements.
• Contribute to proposals, client pitches, and relationships with PE sponsors.
