Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an entry‑level project/engineering candidate in Tampa, FL to assist in both functional and physical engineering tasks.

You will support design documentation, field installation coordination, and commissioning activities across power, security, and telecom domains. You will work with project leaders to manage schedules, risk, and subcontractor coordination while preparing closeout documentation and ensuring standards compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ABET accredited preferred.
• 0+ years of experience in engineering with a BS degree.
• Ability to read and interpret design documentation and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support design documentation and field installation teams to meet operational needs.
• Coordinate commissioning activities, test procedures, and documentation.
• Assist project leadership with risk, change, and scheduling tasks.
• Write questions for RFI to customers or designers and track progress.
• Produce project installation plans and closeout documentation.
