Job summary

TAK Broadband, a nationwide fiber broadband contractor, is seeking a Project Specialist to support telecom construction project execution from Fairfield, CA. You will manage activities, resources, schedules and communications between clients and internal teams, monitor progress, assist budgets and procurement, and ensure project standards are met.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.
• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field a plus.
• Experience in project management from conception to delivery.
• PMP / PRINCE2 certification a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner.
• Experience with Basecamp or Trello.
• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information.
• Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes.
• Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.
• Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
• Monitor progress and handle issues that arise.
• Assist with budgets and procurement as needed.
• Prepare budgets and analyze risks and opportunities.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.
