Job summary

Project Resources Group (PRG) is seeking an experienced Telecom Project Manager in New York, NY to lead FTTx construction initiatives, coordinate field operations, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will manage multi-site projects, work with clients and contractors, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires 10+ years in cable/telecom construction, strong leadership, superior communication, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cable/telecommunications construction and project management.
• Proven FTTx project management experience is required.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing contractors and multi-site construction projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed based on project demands.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all aspects of FTTx construction projects, including field operations, quality control, and reporting.
• Track project milestones, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
• Lead regular project meetings and coordinate communications among clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Implement and uphold construction department standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide consistent updates to clients and leadership regarding project progress and any issues impacting timelines or relationships.
