Job summary

Project Resources Group (PRG) is seeking a Telecom Project Manager with a strong background in cable/telecommunications construction and outside plant (OSP) operations. The role focuses on ensuring escalations are handled efficiently and milestones stay on track, with regular updates to clients and leadership.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years in telecom construction and proven FTTx PM experience, plus strong leadership to manage contractors across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cable/telecommunications construction and project management.
• Previous experience managing escalation tickets.
• Proven FTTx project management experience is required.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing contractors and multi-site construction projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels.
• Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed at the federal rate).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management experience required.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed based on project demands.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of escalation tickets and maintain regular escalation site and CIN Tickets.
• Track project milestones, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
• Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Implement and uphold construction department standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide consistent updates to clients and leadership regarding project progress and any issues impacting timelines or relationships.
