Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Lineman I-III to build and maintain telecommunications networks in the Construction department. The role involves climbing poles, installing and repairing cable, reading work orders, and performing ground and aerial tasks in various weather conditions.

This hourly, non-exempt position requires safety awareness and the ability to work outdoors. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Extensive knowledge of approved practices, procedures, tools, and materials used in telecom line construction work.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Willing to work outdoors in inclement weather and outdoors for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains major cable systems and structures including poles and aerial to underground conversions.
• Reads and interprets work orders, specs, drawings to determine work sequence.
• Performs construction tasks such as digging holes, climbing poles, placing and removing poles, and stringing wire/cable.
