Job summary

Alpha Scanlon seeks a skilled technician to install and service VoIP/telecom systems, handle data/low-voltage cabling, and support surveillance and access control in the Pittsburgh region. Typical hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with days spent on-site at job sites.

Qualifications include 3+ years in telecom/IT or related field, strong hands-on abilities, reliability, and a valid vehicle for mileage reimbursement at the national rate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of telecom, IT, low-voltage, or related field experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on installation abilities.
• Professional, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Reliable vehicle required (mileage reimbursed at the national rate).

Responsibilities

• Install and service VoIP/telecom systems (hosted and premise-based).
• Data / low voltage cabling (Cat5/6, fiber, testing, terminations).
• Surveillance and access control installation/support.
• Network equipment setup, physical installation, and troubleshooting.
• Paging, emergency communication, and door phone systems.
