Job summary

Alpha Scanlon seeks a skilled technician to install and service VoIP/telecom systems, handle data/low-voltage cabling, and support surveillance and access control in the Pittsburgh region. Typical hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with days spent on-site at job sites.

Qualifications include 3+ years in telecom/IT or related field, strong hands-on abilities, reliability, and a valid vehicle for mileage reimbursement at the national rate.

We are assisting our partnering company, listed below, with this position. It is open to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Install and service VoIP/telecom systems (hosted and premise-based)
• Data / low voltage cabling (Cat5/6, fiber, testing, terminations)
• Surveillance and access control installation/support
• Network equipment setup, physical installation, and troubleshooting
• Paging, emergency communication, and door phone systems

Qualifications

• 3+ years of telecom, IT, low-voltage, or related field experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting at $23/hour and up based on experience
