Job summary

Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites near Elgin, IL. This regional role requires travel, self-direction, and a proactive attitude to grow in the telecom industry.

Core duties include diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing cooling systems; performing routine maintenance; handling service calls including emergencies; and completing daily reports.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 or Universal EPA certification.
• At least 3 years of HVAC maintenance experience.
• Strong verbal and email communication skills.
• Ability to travel within 60 miles of Elgin, IL.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
• Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
• Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the Pearce Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
