Job summary

Pearce Services in Elgin, IL, seeks Experienced HVAC Technicians to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters at Cell Tower sites. This regional role requires traveling within 60 miles of Elgin and occasional after-hours work.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain complex systems, and document work thoroughly. Ideal candidates have Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification, 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience, and basic knowledge of refrigeration systems.

Qualifications

• Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
• 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred).
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
• Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
• Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per Pearce policies.
