Job summary

Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This is a regional role, requiring travel and the ability to work independently in the Oakland, CA area.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining cooling systems, performing checks, handling after-hours calls, and submitting daily reports. Must have EPA Type 2 certification and 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Must have EPA Type 2 certification (or Level 2)
• Minimum 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred)
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and by email

Responsibilities

• Maintain cooling systems—diagnose, troubleshoot, repair or replace components.
• Perform regular performance checks and routine maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Conduct upgrades or maintenance to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
• Respond to service calls, including after-hours work when required.
• Complete daily work reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Operate and maintain a company vehicle per safety standards.
