Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee field operations for large telecommunications and low-voltage projects, leading field teams from kickoff to customer turnover and ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget. You will manage Superintendents and technicians, staffing, training, productivity, and documentation to support on-time delivery and strong customer satisfaction.

The role requires leadership, strong problem solving, and the ability to travel to active job

Qualifications

• 5+ years in telecommunications, low-voltage, or related construction.
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• 3+ years as a Lead Communications Technician or similar leadership role.
• Experience managing large projects from scope to turnover.
• Strong knowledge of telecom installation, cabling, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations for large/complex telecom projects from kickoff through turnover.
• Lead and manage superintendents, technicians, and field teams, including staffing and scheduling.
• Ensure safety, quality, schedule, budget, and customer requirements are met.
• Manage project execution: labor, materials, equipment, and installation progress.
• Monitor financial performance: job costs, invoicing, change orders, profitability.
• Attend meetings as the on-site customer contact and drive project closeout.
