Job summary

Black Box seeks an experienced Construction/Telecom Project Manager to lead field delivery on large cabling and data center projects in Texas. You will coordinate with PMs, clients, and subcontractors, ensure safety, schedule, and quality, and drive milestones on site.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, managing changes, and preparing closeout documentation while enforcing QA/QC. Requires 5+ years in construction, a CM-related degree, OSHA-30 and BICSI preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the construction industry in a similar role.
• Experience with large, structured cabling projects and/or data center construction projects highly preferred.
• OSHA-30 Hour certification preferred.
• BICSI TECH certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field delivery on telecom construction projects and coordinate with Project Managers and subcontractors on site in Texas.
• Ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance through day-to-day management and reporting.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid packages; manage scope and changes through RFIs and Change Orders.
• Mentor field staff, manage resources, and drive project milestones to completion.
• Prepare closeout documentation and ensure customer-ready submittals; maintain QA/QC adherence.
