Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 3–5 years of OSP engineering management experience.
• 3–5 years of underground utility or telecom construction experience.
• Strong working knowledge of outside plant fiber engineering standards, aerial and underground construction methods.
• Familiarity with state, county, and city permitting requirements, including State DOT regulations.
• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Fiber Engineers, Field Operations, and Project Management to plan and execute projects.
• Oversee external vendors and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Develop construction plans and permit packages; bid work to qualified subcontractors.
• Coordinate permitting and licensing with local/state agencies.
• Lead site construction efforts, maintain schedules and quality on site.
• Maintain project records and provide status reports to leadership and clients.
• Negotiate vendor costs and monitor budget performance.
