Job summary

Race Communications is seeking a Field Technician Lead in Tehachapi, CA. You will oversee a team of field technicians, drive telecom deployment, maintenance, and repair of our network infrastructure, and ensure safety and quality in all tasks.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in telecom field operations with 2+ years in leadership, a CA driver’s license, and the ability to work Tue–Sat 10:00a–7:00p. Spanish is a plus; 100% company-paid medical and dental benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• A valid California driver’s license is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years in telecommunications field operations; 2+ years in leadership/supervisory role.
• Proficiency in English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work Tue–Sat 10:00a–7:00p.
• Willingness for overtime, nights, weekends for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a field technician team to ensure efficient task execution.
• Provide technical troubleshooting for telecom issues.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize field operations to meet deadlines.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and safety of telecom equipment.
