Job summary

ITG Communications, LLC is seeking a construction team supervisor to oversee daily operations on aerial or underground telecom cable projects. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating ITG crews and partner personnel.

The role requires 2+ years in telecom cable splicing, knowledge of coaxial and fiber optic splicing, and a commitment to safety and documentation. You will lead toolbox talks, monitor progress, and collaborate with departments to meet project goals.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical certification in telecommunications, electronics, or related field preferred.
Specialized training in cable splicing techniques highly beneficial.
2+ years of telecommunications cable splicing experience.
Experience with coaxial and fiber optic splicing preferred.
Safety knowledge and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities

Plan and supervise daily activities of technicians in telecom cable construction.
Enforce safety regulations and company policies.
Assign tasks and schedules, ensuring resource availability.
Monitor progress, quality, and adherence to timelines.
Provide training and guidance to team members.
Address on-site issues and customer interactions.
Maintain records and prepare management reports.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks.
