Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in the United States seeks a Telecom Expense Management specialist to manage billing reconciliation, inventory, and vendor management across global voice and data services.

You will lead cost optimization initiatives, analyze telecom spend, and collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and IT teams to drive governance across data, voice, mobility, WAN, and network services.

Qualifications

• TEM experience and understanding of telecom expense workflows.
• Ability to review, audit, and reconcile telecom invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Experience in inventory and asset management for telecom assets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and validate telecom expenses across global voice, data, mobility, WAN, and carrier services.
• Review, audit, and reconcile invoices to ensure billing accuracy and cost optimization.
• Identify billing discrepancies, duplicate charges, inactive services, and opportunities for savings.
• Maintain telecom inventory including circuits, devices, DIDs, SIP trunks, and network assets.
• Perform inventory-to-invoice reconciliation and maintain asset repositories and records.
• Coordinate with carriers and vendors to resolve disputes, escalations, and contract queries.
• Monitor contracts, renewals, pricing, and SLAs to ensure financial compliance.
• Prepare spend analyses, dashboards, and executive-level reporting for finance and leadership.
