Job summary

New Wave People is seeking an experienced analyst to join the Telecom Expense Management Unit. The role focuses on cost optimization for mobile, landline and data services, including IT/cloud costs, with emphasis on invoice analysis and large data reviews.

You will establish processes, analyze spending, and prepare forecasts while coordinating with IT telecom services and vendors. Strong Excel, Power BI, ServiceNow and PeopleSoft skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred.
• Experience with project-based financial management budgeting/forecasting and or auditing a plus.
• Ability to independently compile, research and perform in-depth analysis of projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ServiceNow, reporting and dashboards.
• Experience with PeopleSoft.
• Proficiency with analytical and table functions.
• Ability to work with large databases and financial software applications.
• Superior skills with spreadsheets and databases.
• Strong communication, analytical and data organization / interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish/Optimize process services for monthly carrier reports analysis.
• Analyze vendor reports to reduce cost by eradicating inefficiencies and optimizing wireless, voice and data services.
• Prepare forecast budget expense reports and monitor spending against budgets.
• Track planned and actual expenses in support of annual budget process and project spend.
• Investigate and resolve project budget variances and provide leadership with updates.
