Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an experienced senior engineer to lead the lifecycle of mission-critical AI data center projects. You will oversee design, reviews, and coordination across Networking, AV, Security, and MEP disciplines to ensure integrated, compliant solutions.

The role requires strong leadership, data-center experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit/BIM, along with familiarity with TIA/NFPA/BICSI standards. A security clearance is anticipated for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering with 7+ years or Master's with 5+ years in engineering.
• 7+ years in any engineering with construction experience; 3+ years in data centers.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams and complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, telecoms, and active systems (DAS/PA).
• Familiarity with TIA, NFPA, and BICSI standards; AutoCAD, Revit, BIM proficiency.
• MS Office, SharePoint, and engineering PM tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering lifecycle for mission-critical AI data center projects, from concept to commissioning.
• Validate delivery of high-quality, constructible engineering solutions across telecoms.
• Coordinate with Networking, AV, Security, MEP, and Architecture for seamless integration.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff, promoting continuous learning and excellence.
• Manage technical risk and ensure compliance with industry standards (TIA, NFPA, BICSI).
• Develop design packages, schedules, cable run-lists, test plans, and QC docs.
• Lead client and project leadership discussions to address requirements and challenges.
• Integrate data from company systems and analyze for insights on solutions.
• Champion engineering best practices and AI infrastructure scalability.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance throughout engineering and construction.
