M.C. Dean is seeking an experienced senior engineer to lead the lifecycle of mission-critical AI data center projects. You will oversee design, reviews, and coordination across Networking, AV, Security, and MEP disciplines to ensure integrated, compliant solutions.

The role requires strong leadership, data-center experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit/BIM, along with familiarity with TIA/NFPA/BICSI standards. A security clearance is anticipated for this position.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's in Engineering with 7+ years or Master's with 5+ years in engineering.
• 7+ years in any engineering with construction experience; 3+ years in data centers.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams and complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, telecoms, and active systems (DAS/PA).
• Familiarity with TIA, NFPA, and BICSI standards; AutoCAD, Revit, BIM proficiency.
• MS Office, SharePoint, and engineering PM tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the engineering lifecycle for mission-critical AI data center projects, from concept through commissioning.
• Validate and ensure the delivery of high-quality, constructible engineering solutions across telecommunications systems.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across disciplines (Networking, AV, Security, MEP, Architecture) to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Manage technical risk, resolve complex engineering challenges, and ensure compliance with industry standards (TIA, NFPA, BICSI).
• Drive the development of engineering deliverables including design drawing packages, project schedules, cable run-lists, test plans, and quality control documentation.
• Lead technical discussions with clients, project leadership, and field teams to align on requirements and proactively address potential challenges before they impact project outcomes.
• Managing the integration of data from multiple company systems and analyzing the data to draw insights on project technical solutions .
• Champion engineering best practices, process improvements, and innovation in support of AI infrastructure scalability and reliability.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance throughout the engineering and construction process.
• Identifying , recommending, and implementing work process improvements.
• Reviewing technical project details with clients and project leadership.
• Maintaining a positive, assertive relationship with project engineers to achieve project milestones and overall project success .

Qualifications Education /Experience Required :

• A Bachelor's in Engineering with a minimum of 7+ years of experience or Master's Degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or Physics preferably from an ABET accredited program.
• 7+ years of experience in any Engineering discipline with Construction experience , including at least 3 + years in mission-critical or data center environments.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and complex technical projects.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and active systems (e.g., DAS, PA, emergency phones).
• Familiarity with TIA standards, NFPA codes, and BICSI standard
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and engineering documentation tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and engineering project management tools.

Desired Experience:

• BICSI RCDD or DCDC certification
• Experience with AI infrastructure technologies and solutions ( g. high-density fiber capacity solutions)
• Manufacturer certifications such as NVIDIA AI Infrastructure and Operations, Corning Fiber Design, Fluke Networks Certified Cabling Test Technician, etc.
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) certification
• Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) certification
• Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) training
• National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) training

Clearance/Citizen Type:

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance is required.
