Job summary

Duke Energy Internship Program offers hands-on experience for students in IT or Engineering fields, with exposure to Telecom Delivery and support within Enterprise Technology and Security. The role emphasizes learning modem communications, carrier activations/deactivations, and participate in special projects across the team.

Hybrid work arrangement after onboarding, with housing stipend available where applicable.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a master's or bachelor's IT or Engineering degree program.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• Must not graduate before August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Selected candidate(s) will gain exposure to cellular engineering and support
• Hands-on experience to learn more about modem communications technology and carrier service activations and deactivations.
• Assist with basic support and troubleshooting
• Assist team with special projects
