Job summary

Duke Energy's Information Technology Summer Internship Program invites current college students to gain hands-on experience in software engineering, data analytics, AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cloud engineering.

You'll work on real projects, attend sessions with senior leaders, and build skills for a tech-driven career while exploring enterprise technology and security operations within a major U.S. energy company.

Qualifications

• Enrolled and pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in an IT or Engineering related major (e.g., CS, CIS, MIS, IT, Electrical/Computer Engineering).
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher required.
• Must not graduate prior to August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist in software engineering, data analytics, AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cloud engineering projects.
• Participate in site visits, information sessions, and networking events with senior leadership and peers.
