Software Resources, Inc. has an immediate, long term contract opportunity for a Telecom Engineer/Architect in Orlando, FL. The role blends on-site and remote work (50/50) to support a 15,000‑phone on-prem system across 300 buildings, including Avaya Aura servers and related products.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Avaya Tier 3 experience and can handle troubleshooting, upgrades, and integrations for core PBX environments while collaborating with the team. Hybrid work arrangement applies.

Qualifications

• Experience with on-prem Avaya Aura servers.
• Strong networking and fault‑finding skills.
• Experience at Avaya Tier 3 level or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide next‑level technical support for telecom infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot, upgrade, and integrate PBX-related servers and applications.
• Assist on-site and remote teams with moves/adds/changes as needed.

Software Resources, Inc. has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Telecom Engineer/Architect with a major corporation in Orlando, FL.

Schedule: Hybrid (2 days per week on-site in Orlando, FL)

Summary:

We are looking for a long term Telecom Engineer/Architect who can help us support our on-prem phone system connected to 15,000 phones in 300 buildings throughout Orange County. We have a mixture of VOIP, Digital, Analog, and 4 core PBXs. Part of the job requires on-site work, but much of it can be performed remotely (50/50). Will be troubleshooting, upgrading, and integrating servers. Day-to-day moves/adds/changes and handset installations are typically performed by other team members. This position will provide next-level support to the other team members. A successful candidate would have experience equivalent to Avaya Tier 3 support.
