System Architect (Contracting)
Locations: Basking Ridge, NJ; Irving, TX; Tampa, FL — Onsite

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, business owners, and industry experts to design and architect strategic solutions
- Lead discussions with the business to determine requirements and design of large-scale software systems and services
- Provide technical leadership on network service provisioning/turn up, dispatch, troubleshooting, and service assurance
- Leverage multi-tier application development frameworks to drive end-to-end architecture design
- Guide cross-functional teams in crafting innovative solutions and communicate impact on existing systems
- Champion industry best practices, incorporating emerging tools and technologies in the autonomous network domain
- Define and document business and architectural requirements, prepare project estimations, and propose innovative technical solutions
- Participate in all phases of solution development from planning and design to implementation and go-live, aligning with SOE/SRE standards
- Design and develop reusable, scalable data models to meet business needs
- Promote technical excellence through software engineering practices and participate in code and design reviews
- Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to establish and document high-level solution intent
- Mentor junior engineers
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
- Six or more years of relevant experience in IT architecture, design, and systems development in Telecom Equipment build, Network build, Inventory & Topology
- Extensive understanding of Wireline Access, Edge & Core Network technologies and related build/management processes
- Knowledge of Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 3 provisioning
- Experience with distributed systems, data ingestion/processing
- Strong system design and architecture skills, including feature definition and low-level design
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Neo4J, MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes)
- Experience with telecom tools and systems (e.g., Ericsson, Oracle TIRKS, WFA, SOAC, MARCH, M6)
- Ability to deliver solutions to complex business/ordering problems and collaborate with global teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with stakeholders

This is a contracting position with potential for long-term engagement. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions. Travel may be required between the listed locations. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. The duration of the contract is to be determined based on project needs and candidate availability.
